Mel has called Taumarunui home since 2019 and love's everything about the area. She live's on a small farm outside of town with her husband, two boys and array of animals/pet's.

Mel is a qualified Vet Nurse but she also holds a Diploma in Business which she has used effectively to run her own mobile Vet Nurse business looking after and housing animals. In her spare time, she enjoys time with friends and family, horse riding and hunting, hiking and biking and just simply being in the fresh air.
