Bernard has always enjoyed working with people which was, and still is, reflected, not only in his years of senior management in sales, marketing and business, but also in his role as a salesperson with Ray White. Satisfaction and enjoyment of the sales process is important for Bernard to achieve for his vendors, buyers and himself.
His ongoing positive attitude and empathetic approach to the real estate industry, supported by his professionalism, communication skills and ability to listen and understand individual needs, allows him to act effectively and gain pleasing results for his clients. His customers and clients have expressed their positive experiences to Bernard via the Ray White ‘Customer Service Feedback’ forms that he has received with them giving him 10/10 for his last 16 listings.
Bernard is happy at being very busy introducing selling properties and working with potential buyers in the Eastern Beaches as well as other suburbs throughout the Southern and Western suburbs of Auckland. In 2018 and 2019 Bernard has sold properties in Half Moon Bay, Cockle Bay, Eastern Beach, Cockle Bay, Flat Bush, Bucklands Beach and Botany Downs. Most of Bernard’s listings in 2018 and 2019 have sold under the hammer at auction, or soon after by negotiation, above or around vendor expectation. Both vendors and buyers were all very happy with how Bernard conducted the pre-auction marketing, vendor reporting, buyer interaction and feedback as well as the overall communication process during negotiation.
Although 2018 - 2019 have been a challenging market with government restrictions on lending and borrowing and the banks reluctance to “over commit”, the market still remains steady and even with a reduction in properties been on the market compared to the previous year good prices were still achieved for vendors. In the Eastern Beaches the school zones are still playing a big part in final price acceptance.
In August 2019 Bernard sold a four bedroom, two bathroom weatherboard property in Bucklands Beach for $1,622,500. Over one hundred and seventy potential buyers inspected the property over a four week marketing period. Buyers were mainly looking for loaction that included good school zones and closeness to good amenities. This is the second $1,600,000 plus proiperty that Benard has sold over the past three months.
