Her extensive background in marketing, tourism, and logistics equips her with a wealth of skills and experience.

Barb prides herself on her honesty, reliability, and diligence. A natural storyteller, she possesses the unique ability to breathe life into marketing campaigns, ensuring that well-marketed properties attract the right buyers. Having relocated to the Bay of Islands in 2007 after years of holidaying in the Far North, Barb and her husband, Paul, successfully operated an award-winning bed and breakfast. They share a family with two children and six grandchildren.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Barb is deeply engaged in her community. Her involvement as a swimming coach and referee, sparked by her children’s participation, has evolved into more than two decades of dedicated service to Special Olympics - an organization she is truly passionate about. She is also a member of Rotary and tries to play Pickleball.
