Liz understands the appeal of both coastal and country living around Mangawhai. Having called the area home for more than 20 years, she brings long-standing local familiarity to her work with buyers and sellers of homes, coastal property and lifestyle land.

Property has been part of Liz’s life since childhood. Her father was a farmer and later a salesperson, with building projects in his spare time. Growing up around plans and builds gave Liz an early connection to property.

Her own experience subdividing and developing bare blocks gives her a practical understanding of the decisions that come with land. Access, services and how a property might suit a buyer’s plans are subjects she has encountered herself. She helps customers gather the available information and understand which questions need to be taken further with their lawyer, council or other advisers.

Before real estate, Liz spent 20 years teaching physical education and geography, including eight years as a dean. Explaining information clearly and helping people work through different points of view were central to that work. Those communication and mediation skills are valuable when a seller and buyer have different priorities and need help finding a way forward.

During her teaching career, Liz earned the nickname ‘Liz NRG’, a play on Nichols-Gill and the energy she brought to teaching Physical Education. It now appears on her car number plate, and she brings that same energy to helping people buy and sell property.

Liz works across Mangawhai, Mangawhai Heads and Kaiwaka. Her patient approach gives customers room to consider their options, whether they are preparing a family home for sale, searching for a coastal retreat or weighing up a section against a completed home. She received Ray White Executive recognition for 2020/2021 and 2021/2022. Liz led the Mangawhai office in gross commission income for 2025/2026.

Outside work, Liz rides her Appaloosa along Te Arai’s beaches and local forest tracks, enjoying the outdoors and her connections with other local riders. Liz also sings in local Mangawhai cover band Home Brewed.

"We have now completed our third property transaction with Liz, having previously purchased a property through her, sold a section, and most recently sold our house. Throughout every transaction, Liz has been professional, honest, and an excellent communicator. She keeps us informed every step of the way, provides realistic advice, and never over-promises. Instead, she focuses on delivering results. What we particularly appreciate is her straightforward approach, market knowledge, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. The sale of our house was handled smoothly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommend Liz to anyone looking to buy or sell property.
