Entrepreneurial local and experienced property renovator Adrian Chhour is one of a new breed of career real estate professionals. Operating as a licensed salesperson with Ray White Manukau, Adrian is a South Auckland boy born and bred and now lives in Flat Bush. On leaving school, Adrian worked as a plasterer and gib stopper in the family firm before moving to Melbourne to join his mother in a fast-food business. He worked long hours and they built up the business to sell 4 1/2 years later. During this time, aged 21 Adrian bought his first home and shortly thereafter another. Armed with his background in the building trade, a strong work ethic and passion for property development, Adrian then worked for a couple of Melbourne real estate firms as a salesperson. His career flourished and he returned home to New Zealand when he could see the opportunities in a booming Auckland market.
