Samson has a real estate and construction family background and is of Malaysian Chinese descent. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Auckland and has enjoyed a respected track record as a specialist in the financial services sector. He held positions within the sales and trading industry with a focus on currency and commodity trading and has extensive experience working in a derivatives brokerage, managing an asset management firm and a trading desk.

Having obtained his real estate licence in 2013, Samson fully launched his real estate sales career in 2019 and successfully listed and sold 18 properties in his first year. The following year he transacted the sale of 29 properties totalling over $60 million. By 2021 he was assigned Ray White Elite status – an accolade only given to the top echelon of sales people across the global Ray White brand. A positive experience in the past buying a property in Orakei through the office’s business owners John Campbell and Jane Horgan ultimately attracted him to join Ray White Orakei in late 2022.

Samson’s background has been the cornerstone of his highly effective negotiating skills and superb time management capabilities. Personable and hard working with a winning mindset Samson has always been fascinated by property. He readily discusses statistics and trends of the Auckland real estate market with his clientele and is well networked with numerous friends and family as his vendors and buyers. Samson prioritises keeping his clients alerted and up to date on the current property market and will immediately provide market information and insight to assist home owners in their buying and selling decisions.

Samson is a passionate Orakei resident, proud husband of Sarah and father to baby son Spencer. He loves to socialise with family and friends and is a keen table tennis player.
