No stranger to excellence and success, Ray is an internationally awarded artist, a former corporate executive and top real estate salesperson. With experience serving international royalty and working with both the public and private sectors, he represents a new generation of real estate professionals that embrace excellence, innovation and - above all - a relational-first approach of serving others. An impressive communicator with a keen interest in cultures, he is also a native English, Cantonese & Mandarin speaker with an interest proficiency in German.

Hailing from an international background in the arts as an orchestral conductor trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Ray chartered a co-career in real estate in his twenties and was a high performer at one of NZ’s most prominent real estate companies. He was then headhunted to join the MADE Group, a large-scale development firm, as Director of Engagement. There, he oversaw the national Partnerships, Sales, Communications and Marketing departments managing multiple consultants and teams while providing strategic leadership and direction as part of an executive board overseeing a project portfolio of $1.2bn+.

In 2023, Ray reignited his real estate career to combine his corporate experience, leadership and a next-generation approach to the industry. Within 12 months, he established and led his team to become #2 Sales Team (Epsom), #4 Sales Team (Central Auckland) and a ranking in the Top 2% of the Company. In 2024, he established Ray & Co. and joined forces with JQ Real Estate (Ray White Parnell) to better serve his focus areas of Epsom and Central Auckland clients with integrity, excellence and care - values that hold a special place with him and his elite team.

""When we first heard that we were required to sell our property (due to uncontrollable circumstances), the news was met with a lot of uncertainty and genuine fear of what the future held.. thoughts of being homeless or not having enough from the house sale to put towards a new house raced through our minds.
