Sam Vo is a bit of a superstar, but in the best possible way. At 23, in less than five years of selling real estate, Sam was the youngest person ever to have achieved the highest possible recognition of performance - Ray White’s Elite Salesperson Status. Not by luck or connections, but by unrelenting drive, hard work and determination to be the best he can be.

Migrating from Vietnam with his family at two, Sam was the eldest of five, and helped his mother raise his four siblings. Sam is proud of growing up as a Kiwi boy, but also of his entrepreneurial nature, inspired and strengthened by involvement in his parents’ first restaurant venture Vo'reintal and second business, Xceptionails. Juggling real estate and another business at the same time to support his family, Sam proved a work ethic second to none. His belief in family values means he understands how important it is to have the security of your own home; a home that suits your family’s needs and is sustainable for your financial situation.

Sam believes that it’s his job to make your life easier. He doesn’t make a distinction about where his job starts and finishes, he simply does whatever it takes to make your property shine. His personal mantra is to treat people the way he would like to be treated, and his eagerness to grow professionally works to your advantage, knowing this will only happen by listening carefully to your needs. A self confessed perfectionist, he doesn’t believe in delegation, taking full responsibility for your successful outcome.

Taking time out for Sam means hanging out with good mates, keeping physically fit, and spending time with his family. He dedicates a spell every year to return to Vietnam to visit his grandmother, and maintain important connections with his birthplace.

"At some time in life we all have a story to tell. For me that time is now. If I was to give it a title. I would call it. SAM VO AND I I owned a property in Redcrest Avenue in need of repairs. My parents advice was sell and move on. Something I was very reluctant to do. After much discussion I was at my parent’s house and in walks Sam Vo. Of course my parents had arranged it. After introductions we all sat down to talk. Sam introduced me to all aspects of selling and buying in the current market,. He spent over two hours going over all scenarios of how we could approach the sale of Redcrest and the purchase of a new home. No tiny detail was forgotten. Still not convinced Sam told me to go home and think about it. Sam gave me a few days then phoned and offered to show me a couple of houses. (No pressure) This was to give me more tools to consider my options. One house I liked was a Barfoot and Thompson listing. They refused to share the commission. Sam said the important thing was to get the home I really liked. He would still guide me in any way I wished. AT THAT POINT I MADE A DECISION: • I would list my house with Ray White • I would not buy the Barfoot house unless they shared the commission • I would work with Sam to obtain a new home Sam advised on what to do to present my home in the best possible way. Arranged photos, open homes and arranged a date for the auction. Never promising me the moon but always reminding me he would do his very best to enhance my sale. The auction closed at ,000 an amazing price for my tiny little Keith Hay house. The following day a place that I felt I could turn into a lovely home and was keen to buy went up for auction but I had a settlement date far in excess of what the seller would accept. My family and I were in the auction room listening to the bidding and really annoyed that I had not taken the bank offer of bridging finance. The auction was closing going, going when Sam stands up and say stop the auction. Would the seller accept ,000 for an extended settlement date. The seller asked for ,000. There were no further bids and the house was mine. My family and I left the auction rooms stunned, amazed and over whelmed but also very very happy. I had my next home. From time to time Sam phoned to ensure I was OK and everything was on schedule. To conclude my story I would like to say that my Agent Sam Vo was outstanding in every way. He is the epitome of what a good Agent is and should be and I feel that Ray White should be proud to have such an Agent with so much integrity as Sam. Yours Sincerely Toni May 4 Hazeldene Place, Opaheke"
