Selma Peters excels in her vocation as a Real Estate person, she thoroughly enjoys helping people find the dream lifestyle and home they want. Energetic and enthusiastic, Selma, who was an accounts administrator for the former Continental Airlines head office in Auckland remembers clearly the day, in the late 1990s, that she and all the other employees of the airline were told it was closing its doors. This was perhaps the catalyst to a major professional turning point for her. She decided to take control of her life and went into real estate.
Selma found she had a talent for the job when she started working for Auckland real estate couple Mike and Irene Green at their Remuera/Epsom Harcourts office – one of nine they owned at the time.
The Greens didn’t usually take on inexperienced people but they took a punt on Selma and it certainly paid off, with the working relationship becoming a very rewarding one for many years.
