Joanna spent 15 years living and performing as a classical musician through America and Europe. She has now transitioned her high-performance skills to a new chapter in Real Estate.

Originally raised on a large farm in the Hokianga, Joanna’s upbringing was shaped by the hardworking values of her farmer/developer father, and the caring sensibilities of her community health nurse mother. This blend of practical skills, resilience, and people-focused values laid a strong foundation for her diverse and accomplished career path.

At the age of six, Joanna moved to Kerikeri, where she completed her schooling. An unexpected series of opportunities led her down an extraordinary path—pursuing a professional career as an opera singer. For over 15 years, she lived, studied, and worked as a freelance musician in some of the world’s most vibrant cultural hubs, including Los Angeles, New York, London, and Berlin.

Now back in her hometown with her young family, Joanna is excited to begin a new chapter in real estate. While this may seem like a significant shift from the operatic stage, she brings with her a deep understanding of communication, a high-performance mindset, and unwavering drive—all of which she’s now applying to helping people navigate the property market.

Joanna is proud to join her sister Terri and the welcoming team at REAL Property, whose integrity and dedication she has long admired. With strong local roots and a passion for connecting people with homes, she is committed to providing a professional, personable, and results-driven service to the Kerikeri community.
