"We weren't necessarily looking for a property near Havelock but this one caught our eye and the time (for us) was right... but we only had four days before the deadline sale to get all our ducks in a row. As one who has worked in real estate, I knew that if we were to do this it would put a great deal of pressure on the selling agent to provide us with the confidence and information we needed to be in a position to place an offer. Lorraine went out of her way to facilitate this, driving for over 3 hours return to meet with us and talk us through the property, the method of sale, and then to provide contact details for those people we would need to speak to in order to complete due diligence (local council etc.) We planned to put in a bid remotely and, over the next three days, countless phone calls and emails to the various agencies ensued, almost every time necessitating further calls to Lorraine for information and/or clarification.
