After several years focused on her family Trina started her own Interior Design Company . Her Interiors business specialised in Children's rooms and creative spaces.

Alongside the retail business she also consulted privately for clients in Interior Design.

Trina was also one of the Co-founding owners of the Wellington property web-based business Homes.co.nz, now sold to Trade me another Wellington institution. She has a long relationship with all things property in Wellington and has honed her negotiation skills effectively ensuring that her clients get the best possible deals. Her specialist area of focus is Wellington’s Western suburbs including Kelburn where she also resided for many years, she has deep knowledge and understanding of the local real estate market which is crucial for success.
