Originally from Wainuiomata in Wellington, I have lived more than half my life in Napier. During my working life in the ‘Bay’, I have been involved almost exclusively in sales and looking after people. I was a successful Real Estate Agent for a number of years and followed up that up with time as a Chiropractic Assistant. Lately, I have been part of the NZ Champion Cellar Door Team at Church Road.

Within all these roles I believe I have contributed strongly to the success of the teams I have been involved in. Without exception, contributing to the team, empathy, getting on with people, and strongly believing in the people or product I’m representing, has ensured success in these roles. Now, our family has grown up and spread far and wide, I have the time that needs to be devoted to successful results in real estate sales.

I feel looking after and doing my best for people makes me well suited to my role. Having empathy for people and with their situation is so important. I enjoy seeing people I have worked with years ago, catching up with them and seeing how they’re getting on. People need to know I have their priorities at heart.

During my first stint in real estate, I had the highest median price of any salesperson in our office. That was achieved with strong negotiation skills and being ‘hand in glove’ with my client’s priorities. I am confident I can achieve great results for people – I’ve done it before!

We have three wonderful daughters who grew up on the farm in Eskdale. One is now farming while two are medical professionals on the other side of the world. They got a great start in life living in the country, working, and playing on the farm, and enjoying the benefits of living in Hawkes Bay. While we spent a lot of years in Eskdale, our life is more oriented towards town these days, but it gives me confidence that I am equally at home in gumboots tracing a leaky pipe or in a suit negotiating a sale.

I always try to place myself in my client’s shoes. The people and situation are different in almost every case with the only exception being, we are dealing with their biggest and most important asset – the family home. I know that one size does not fit all.

I am looking forward to reconnecting with people I have represented previously and to share that experience with new clients.

Tremains Napier and Taradale are committed to top service and premium results throughout Hawke’s Bay.
