"Good morning Ash This is a quick note of thank you for your help to us when we were in Masterton a couple of weeks ago, and since then. We quite unexpectedly liked Wairarapa and particularly that property on Essex Street in Masterton, but in the end in our hearts our real choice was Canterbury which we liked as a region when we were last here on a brief visit. It is colder as you said but we are probably more suited to this weather after 35+ years of living in colder parts of the northern hemisphere! The property Paul mentioned when he rang you is better established than Essex St and the prospect of financial growth is perhaps lower, but it gives us the benefit of "Lifestyle" which was our preferred type of property, without real need to keep animals on land. In the end our final accepted price was lower than your suggestion, so we feel we've done well!
