With around 40 years experience in the building industry including rural, industrial, and predominately residential, Steve has an extensive knowledge of the construction industry and is well equipped to assist with preparation advise for the successful sale of your property.
A self-employed bricklayer in the north of England with a travel bug Steve spent 6 months visiting NZ and fell in love with the beauty and freedom New Zealand offered. This led Steve to emigrate and settle in Putaruru in the early 1980’s. He started his own small building contracting business covering a broad range of construction, including farm buildings/cow sheds, industrial (including Fonterra and Forest Products), School extensions and modernizations, residential (including Rangiura Retirement Village and A1 Homes), plus being the facilitator and project manager for the St John Station and Hall re-build.
With a strong need to be involved in the community Steve firstly joined Kiwanis in the late 80's then became a volunteer with St John Ambulance in 1994 qualifying as a ICO/Paramedic in 2002. Continuing in construction until 2008 when his love for ambulance work persuaded him to become a full-time officer based in Putaruru. Steve moved to Tirau in 2013 and has extensively renovated his home and joined Tirau Volunteer Fire Brigade to fulfil his need to be involved in the local community.
Steve feels Real Estate is a great avenue to allow him to fulfil his need to help people and his strong commitment to assist in any way will help you achieve your dreams.
