Tom Hughes is one of the island’s senior salespeople, having entered the real estate market in 2005 with the Ray White franchise on Waiheke Island. Since 2006, he has worked as a Licensed Sales Consultant with Waiheke Real Estate.

Before real estate, Tom and his brother Justin owned an iconic furniture brand in Auckland, which they sold to a consortium in the late 70s. Tom then spent nearly 30 years in the far north of the United States, working in the industrial packaging business, which later expanded into automated machinery systems. Upon deciding to return to New Zealand, Waiheke Island was their chosen destination.
